Legacy Scholarship

Purpose: Created as a lasting tribute, the ISSRT Legacy Scholarship honors ISSRT members and contributors who have passed and whose exceptional service, leadership, advocacy, and dedication helped shape the radiologic technology profession in Illinois. The scholarship ensures that the values and contributions of these distinguished honorees continue to inspire and strengthen future generations of radiologic technologists by supporting the educational pursuits of current and future imaging professionals.

  • Amount: $500
  • Deadline: 31 January 

Scholarship Eligibility Requirements:

  • Be an active ISSRT member at least 60 days prior to the application deadline
  • Be currently enrolled in, or a recent graduate (within the past 12 months) of, an accredited radiologic science program, advanced certificate program, or bachelor’s or graduate degree program.
  • Students must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale):
    • Completed Application
    • Written essay
    • Professional/Academic Activities
    • Official Transcripts from radiologic technology program, colleges, etc.
    • A copy of continuing education documents
