Legacy Scholarship Honoree Nomination

Purpose

Thank you for helping preserve the history of the Illinois State Society of Radiologic Technologists (ISSRT). The Legacy Scholarship honors ISSRT members and contributors who have passed and whose dedication, leadership, and service left a lasting impact on the profession. Honorees selected by the ISSRT Board of Directors will be permanently recognized through the ISSRT Legacy Scholarship.

Honoree Inclusion Criteria

Individuals may be nominated posthumously and added to the ISSRT Legacy Scholarship honoree list when they meet one or more of the following criteria:

1. Former ISSRT Presidents or Officers who made significant contributions to the organization.
2. Long-serving ISSRT members (10 or more years) who demonstrated sustained commitment through leadership, committee service, education, or advocacy.
3. Educators, clinical leaders, or technologists whose work significantly advanced radiologic science education or professional practice in Illinois.
4. Individuals who made notable contributions to legislative advocacy, student development, or ISSRT initiatives.

• All nominated honorees must be approved by a majority vote of the ISSRT Board of Directors.
• All nominations must be received by January 31^st

Honoree Recognition at the Annual Conference

Newly selected ISSRT Legacy Scholarship Honorees will be recognized during the ISSRT Annual Conference. Their names will be permanently engraved on the ISSRT Legacy Scholarship Plaque, and a brief biography highlighting their contributions to the profession and the Society will be presented during a memorial recognition segment.
